ARN Difference

You will be accompanied by a captain and professional marine biologist with many years experience conducting whale research studies from Antarctica to Belize and a particularly in-depth knowledge of these local waters. You’ll board a state of the art, six person vessel that was built for speed and comfort, allowing it to maneuver quickly, while providing great stability and keeping motion felt on board to a minimum. Everybody has a front row seat and each trip is customized to the guest, guaranteeing an exhilarating and intimate ocean safari.

Good to know

Whales are present in Monterey Bay year round. The blues feed here in late spring through fall, beginning November through April large pods of migrating grey whales pass through the bay on their way to or returning from their breeding grounds in Baja. You’ll may also spot playful humpbacks, solitary fin whales and occasional small pods of transient Orcas can be seen on an extra lucky day. Resident dolphins, otters, seals and friendly sea lions are often curious enough to swim close to the boat.
