Day 1-3 

Buckle up, because Fort Worth is as quintessentially cowboy as it gets. Drop into Leddy’s to get fitted for your own pair of custom, handmade cowboy boots. As you walk through the iconic store, you’ll pass walls of bespoke boots, rare Clint Orms’ buckles and all manner of high-end Western wear. The craftsman will take your precise measurements and work with you to dream up a boot to match your style– the perfect fashion statement and memento of your trip through cowboy country. 

Later, gain a different perspective on Western history with a visit to the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame with a bona fide, modern-day cowgirl as your guide. Celebrating the remarkable contributions of women in the American West, this is an entertaining and immersive experience for all ages.

For those feeling the need for speed, you’ll drive a real NASCAR race car around the 1.5-mile oval track at the iconic Texas Motor Speedway, stopping for pit stops, and passing slower cars along the way– just like the real deal. 

And of course, did you really visit Fort Worth if you don’t witness the infamous cattle drive through the Stockyards and the rodeo? We’ll make sure you have a front row seat for both.

Austin

Day 4-6

Next, it’s a road trip to Texas’ cultural, artistic and state capital: Austin. On the way in from DFW, make a pitstop at Schoepf’s Old Time Pit BBQ in Belton or Louie Mueller Barbeque for a taste of Texas’ most famous cuisine. Try a pulled pork sandwich or brisket, smothered with barbecue sauce of course. Austin is a spunky mecca of live music and has a vibrant food culture. One of the city’s most captivating natural spectacles is the sight of bats emerging from underneath the Congress Avenue Bridge. Each evening, from spring to early fall, hundreds of thousands of Mexican free-tailed bats take flight as the light slowly seeps from the sky. We’ll make sure you see the best of it from a private boat ride along Lady Bird Lake.

Your Austin stay at Commodore Perry Estate offers ultimate Texan hospitality and a dash of that whimsical character that Austin is known so well for. The property is a reimagined 1920’s historic mansion on ten acres of well-kept gardens, fountains and old oak trees. 

Before you leave the city, we’ll pair you up with the owner of Austin’s most iconic honky-tonk for a two-step lesson. Along to the rhythm of the fiddle, you’ll be twirling around the dance floor in no time to the tune of Cotton-Eyed Joe and whatever other Western Swing ditties that float your way.

Hill Country

Day 7-10

Next, you’ll leave the city to dive into the surrounding Texas Hill Country, where rolling hills, clear rivers and natural swimming holes abound. Your home base at Madrone Springs Ranch will expertly introduce you to this haven of natural beauty. The ranch covers nearly two hundred acres, and it’s all yours to explore. The main Ranch House is perched on the edge of the canyon overlooking Flat Creek, complete with upscale furnishings, wood-burning fireplaces, and an outdoor shower. Spend your days exploring the many hiking trails, picnicking in a secluded corner, bird watching, making friends with the resident alpacas, or taking a plunge into the stream of natural pools. 

When you’re ready to explore further afield, we’ll set you up on one of Texas’ most beautiful rivers for a half day fly-fishing. Floating along the San Marcos River, we’ll ensure you’re paired with an expert guide that will cater to your skill level, whether a novice or a well-seasoned fisher. As you drift down the slow-moving waters along to the sound of birdsong, you’ll experience several miles of scenery while casting for trout and bass. 

Hill Country is a hotbed for distilleries, both well-established and newly emerging. We’ll guide you towards one of our favorites for some excellent Texas whiskey and gin. You’ll get a behind the scenes look at the true craftsmanship that goes into creating these spirits, before enjoying a tasting of their wares. 

End your luxury Texas journey back with a drive back to Dallas or extend it with a few days in San Antonio, with its rich history and proudly Hispanic culture.

Day 1 – 3

Los Angeles is well known as the glamorous home of Hollywood– the sunny land of the rich and famous – but we’ll introduce you to the less explored facet as well: Los Angeles is a city steeped in nature. It is one of the few cities where you can be skiing in the morning and surfing in the afternoon. You’ll get a first taste during an evening viewing the starry night sky through powerful telescopes at Griffith Observatory, overlooking Los Angeles on the slope of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park. 

Just a short walk from the beach, your stay at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel provides the quintessential picture of stylish, California living on the coast. Not a detail is out of place, thanks to the creative mind of renowned designer Kelly Wearstler, and the hotel is privy to a breezy rooftop pool and restaurant.

During your first full day in Los Angeles, head to the ocean for a surf lesson with a private instructor. Winter is the best time of year to find smooth, consistent swells in Santa Monica, and nothing beats the feeling of getting out into the salt water to catch a few waves. After you dry off, take a leisurely bike ride along the boardwalk and through the canals of Venice. Be sure to stop by the Venice Skatepark and watch the pros pulling daring tricks against the backdrop of the fluttering palm trees and Pacific Ocean. 

Next up, take a road trip along Pacific Coast Highway into Malibu for a day of exploring the network of trails that thread through the Santa Monica Mountains. Riding the latest e-bikes, your knowledgeable guide will lead you along routes perfectly suited to your family’s skill level, opening up thousands of acres of the mountainous preserve for your exploration. Depending on the month, an abundance of wildflowers and wildlife will keep you company, from mule deer and coyotes to red tail hawks. And of course, there’s the reward of an epic, expansive view of the Pacific at every turn.

That evening, dates permitting, enjoy one of the hottest tickets in U.S. sports, watching the LA Lakers play at the Crypto.com Arena.

Palm Springs and Joshua Tree

Day 4 – 6

Leaving the ocean behind, let the city melt away, and head inland towards SoCal’s favorite desert oasis: Palm Springs. That afternoon, take the aerial tramway to over 8,500ft in the San Jacinto Mountains or gain altitude in a more metaphorical sense at the fascinating Palm Springs Air Museum. For the culturally inclined, Palm Springs has a long history as a mecca of forward-thinking art and design. It boasts one of the most extensive enclaves of mid century modern architecture and hosts leading contemporary art exhibitions such as Desert X, which features a range of outdoor art installations throughout the Coachella Valley. 

Joshua Tree National Park, although just a short drive outside of Palm Springs, transports you to an alternate universe, home to expansive plains of the park’s namesake trees and a rocky wonderland of iconic boulder formations. You’ll get a closer look at the latter with an afternoon of rock climbing with an expert climbing guide. The night reveals a whole new level of the park’s beauty as the stars begin to appear, one by one. Joshua Tree boasts some of the darkest skies in Southern California and, therefore, some of the most stunning, star-scattered night skies. We’ll arrange for you to meet an astronomer who not only will point out stars, meteor showers and planets through their telescope, but also will weave together the myths and legends behind each constellation.

San Diego

Day 7 – 10

On the way further south to San Diego, you’ll pass through Temecula, a new wine hotspot and the perfect stop for lunch. San Diego is a city known for its beautiful, sandy beaches and laid-back lifestyle, and we’ll be sure that you enjoy both with a s’mores bonfire and movie screening on the beach. Just steps from your room at Shore House at the iconic Hotel Del Coronado, you can enjoy showings of cult classics on the big screen on the hotel’s private beach. During the day, we’ll have plenty of recommendations to enjoy California cuisine. Think fresh fish tacos and fantastic, authentic Mexican food.

There’s so much to explore beyond the shore as well. Make your way to the marina where you’ll board a small six-person boat and set off into the wildlife-rich waters off the coast of San Diego. With your captain at the helm, venture out into this incredible aquatic ecosystem– home to whales, dolphins, seals, and an array of other marine life. Winter and early spring is primetime for spotting Gray Whales, as they migrate between feeding grounds in Alaska and Baja California to breed.

End your Southern California winter adventure with a different view of San Diego’s waters, up close by kayak. Together with your private guide you’ll paddle through a protected reserve and even dip in and out of sea caves. Along the way you’ll see leopard sharks in shallow waters, kelp forests, seals, sea lions and even the occasional dolphin.

The Catskills and Hudson Valley

Days 1 & 2

Leave New York City behind as you venture into the idyllic Hudson Valley just a few hours drive north of the big city. Thanks to generations of artists escaping the city to find inspiration in nature upstate, Hudson Valley is awash with trendy boutiques, fantastic restaurants and acclaimed art institutions.

Indulge in a farmer-led visit and lunch at the renowned Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture, then stop by Storm King Arts Center to explore this leading open-air museum by bike. At the end of the day, rest your head at Troutbeck– a beautiful 250-acre estate that has hosted naturalists, poets and other romantics of the likes of Emerson and Hemingway.

On your second day, Troutbeck has a myriad of activities to immerse you in the surrounding forests and valleys that have long inspired its visitors. Whether you’re interested in hiking, a guided fly-fishing experience or meditation, there’s something for everyone.

Saratoga Springs

Day 3 & 4

Continue to step back in time as you venture further upstate. First, you’ll stop by Olana Estate, home to one of the major figures in the Hudson River School of landscape painting, for a private tour through the historic building and sweeping grounds. Then it’s onward to Saratoga Springs, where you’ll enjoy the nostalgic glamor of thoroughbred horse races. We’ll arrange your VIP box seats at the track with a private paddock pass and access to the winner’s circle. Don your race day best (don’t forget your hat!) and hope the odds are in your favor.

The Point in the Adirondacks

Days 5-7

Continuing north, you’ll drive a few hours to enter the Adirondacks. This wild landscape sprawls across over 6.1 million acres of beautifully rugged mountains, lakes and natural beauty. Soak in your beautiful surroundings with cocktails from the epic vantage point of the Lake Placid Olympic Ski Jump.

Enjoy the best of this beautiful wilderness from the comfort of The Point, a secluded luxury property on Saranac Lake. The Point is a true vestige of the past and a member of the elite ranks of the “Adirondack Great Camps.” In the early 19th century, Gilded Age magnates– such as the Vanderbilts and Guggenheims– built idyllic log mansions along the lakeshores of upstate New York as much-needed escapes back into nature. With hot chocolate in hand, a private chauffeur will drive you through Dyker Heights to soak in its iconic Christmas display. 

Washington D.C.

Days 6 – 8

Washington D.C. is just under three hours away on the Acela Express Train. America’s capital city is famed for its historic landmarks, and your private guide will be a local with a deep understanding of the places you’ll be seeing– including of course landmarks such as the Lincoln Memorial and Library of Congress, but also lesser known spots such as the powerful Korean War Veterans Memorial. The Smithsonian is renowned for being the world’s largest museum, education, and research complex. With twenty-one museums (and the National Zoo) represented, we’ll arrange an excellent guide to expertly direct you to points of interest– based on what your family is interested in. Your stay at The Jefferson Hotel is a stately slice of D.C., located in a 1920’s apartment building between the White House and Dupont Circle. It’s close enough to walk to all of the best attractions, but far enough to be out of the thick of it all. 

Aspen, Colorado

Days 9 – 15

Next, it’s away to the Rocky Mountains to revel in Aspen’s winter wonderland. This little mountain town’s reputation as the place to see and be seen precedes itself, but you’ll also find characterful Western roots alongside the designer storefronts. With the exceptional Little Nell as your homebase (one of our favorites), you’ll have both prime access to the slopes and a luxurious bolthole to put your feet up at the end of the day. The hotel sits at the bottom of Aspen’s Ajax Mountain and is the only ski-in ski-out hotel in town, plus the team’s ski concierge will transport your family and all your gear to any of Aspen’s four mountains. For an unforgettable powder day, we’ll arrange a snowcat to take you for runs down the untracked snow of the backcountry of Aspen Mountain. 

Although skiing is the highlight, Aspen also has a lot to offer beyond the slopes. Take a horse-drawn sleigh to a gourmet dining experience in a cozy, remote hut in the Elk Mountains at nearly 10,000 feet elevation. The food is focused on local Colorado fare, like Rocky Mountain trout and wild elk. Snow shoeing, ice skating, and dog sledding are just a few more of the unique winter experiences we have up our sleeves.

Days 16 – 18

When you’ve had your fill of snow, head to Los Angeles to end your coast to coast journey with some winter sun. Southern California’s winters are famously mild– the perfect sunny weather for riding around town in a restored 1976 Cadillac Eldorado. Spend a day exploring Beverly Hills, Bel Air & the Hollywood Hills, cruising along iconic Sunset Boulevard with the top down and wind your way through the hills of Bel Air.

Your stay at The Maybourne is the first U.S. outpost from the group behind legendary London hotels, the Connaught and Claridges. In the heart of Beverly Hills and steps from Rodeo Drive, the freshened design and a step up in service has taken a great hotel and turned it into one of our favorites in Los Angeles. Rooms are bright and classic with a mid-century twist and the rooftop pool is the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon. Travel West

Day 1

From your homebase, travel west across the plains, powering straight through to South Dakota or stopping for a few days on the way.

Keystone, South Dakota

Days 2 & 3

From Keystone, explore the Black Hills, Custer State Park and Mt. Rushmore. Nearby Hill City is also well worth a visit. The former mining town is now home to multiple art galleries, as well as the fascinating Museum at Black Hills Institute.

Wildlife abounds in Custer State Park and as you drive the scenic wildlife loop, keep an eye out for bison, pronghorn, prairie dogs, and deer. Stop at one of the historic lodges in the park for lunch or a drink, before heading to monumental Mt. Rushmore, or visit the gargantuan work-in-progress of Crazy Horse Memorial that will be the largest stone carving in the world when complete.

Bighorn National Forest

Days 4 & 5

Drive the spectacular Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway and visit the historic gold rush towns of Deadwood and Spearfish. At the edge of Wyoming, you’ll have the chance to detour to Devil’s Tower National Monument, an otherworldly rocky sentinel and site of significance for several Native American tribes.

Your stay at the Sheridan Inn packs a generation of history into its walls. But that doesn’t mean comfort and service are overlooked. After a day’s driving, settle into a seat on the inn’s wrap-around front porch before dinner. Then, retire to your room, a rustic affair that perfectly blends the hotel’s historical identity with modern amenities.

Cody

Days 6-8

Cody is one of our favorite towns in Montana and Wyoming. A visit to the extraordinary Buffalo Bill Center of the West, with the best collection of its type in the world, is a must for anyone interested in the history of the region. In the evening, make your way to the rodeo grounds for the Cody Nite Rodeo, where you’ll get a chance to see some of the country’s leading cowboys and cowgirls in action.

Built in 1904 and beautifully restored in 2007, the Chamberlin Inn is one of the West’s great small hotels. Located steps from Cody’s historic main street, it is a family-owned affair with well appointed, elegant rooms and a pretty enclosed garden. Ernest Hemingway stayed here in 1932 and his name is still in the register!

Paradise Valley

Days 9 & 10

Next, make your way to the aptly named Paradise Valley. Sage Lodge will be your homebase here for the next two nights. Half an hour from the border of Yellowstone and mere minutes from the world-class Yellowstone River, Sage Lodge’s incredible location is only part of its draw. Enjoy a guided day fly-fishing, hiking, biking or hunting, then dine at the spectacular Sage Grill, with its rustic decor and local fare cooked to perfection. Relax in your comfortable room or cabin while taking in the stunning views of Paradise Valley just outside the floor-to-ceiling window.

Be sure to embark on a Yellowstone River float that meanders through the idyllic Paradise Valley. The Yellowstone River is one of the greatest trout streams in America and, even if you are not an avid fisherman, there is no better way to spend a day than floating a river. After the morning float, you’ll pull up to enjoy a picnic lunch on the bank.

Yellowstone National Park 

Days 11 & 12

Make your way through the park, stopping along the way. This may be for the spectacular falls (Lower and Upper) that cut through the dramatic Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone or a trip to Old Faithful and the geothermal geyser basins nearby. Your professional naturalist guide will ensure you are able to spot as much of the native wildlife as possible. Finish your last day here on the edge of the park in the town of West Yellowstone.

Explorer Cabins are located on the national park boundary in the gateway town of West Yellowstone, putting you in the perfect location to venture into the park each morning. The cabins are cozy, comfortable and well appointed.

Jackson, WY

Days 13-16

The town of Jackson has a family friendly rodeo twice a week during the summer months. The first night, you’ll have the chance to get a “behind the scenes” look with one of the rodeo owners.

Twenty minutes outside of Jackson, your stay at the stunning Amangani is perched on a ridge overlooking the valley far below and the snow-capped Tetons in the distance. Inside, high ceilings and huge glass windows make sure that you never lose touch with your surroundings. Fireplaces, back-lit cedar panels on the walls and cow-hide chairs bring a touch of nature and The West. 

Whether you are looking for a scenic two hour float in a wooden Mckenzie Boat or a wild river rapid ride (or both!), an expert guide will lead you on a personalized adventure on the Snake River. The river runs the valley floor, bordered by groves of willow trees, a favorite moose haunt, and wide open sagebrush flats, home to herds of pretty pronghorn antelope and packs of sage grouse. After you arrive at a riverside camp, you’ll be served appetizers and drinks in a spectacular spring creek setting, before enjoying a gourmet dinner in the private tipi camp.

At the end of your trip, make sure to account for a day or two to head back home. If you fancy taking your time on the way back, add a few extra days to the journey and explore a new route on your way back.

Next, head further up the coast into the heart of the Santa Ynez wine country. Auberge’s newly renovated Inn at Mattei’s Tavern will be your home for the next two nights. Reimagined with new luxurious touches while paying homage to its interesting past as a stagecoach stop and speakeasy, it’s the perfect place from which to enjoy the area’s blossoming fine dining scene and acclaimed wineries. 

Big Sur

Days 5 & 6 

Onwards and upwards to one of the most stunning stretches of the California coast: Big Sur. Taking a winding single track trail through the redwoods to fern-covered Partington Creek before climbing through oaks to reach a coastal overlook is not to be missed. Armed with a gourmet picnic, you’ll descend to a quiet sandy beach, watching the waves roll onshore and gently breaking against the time-weathered rocks. Embark on a hike with a specialist guide who will teach you how to identify edible and nonedible mushrooms, along with numerous other edible and medicinal plants such as Redwood Sorrel, California Sagebrush and Bay Laurel.

This venture into Northern California highlights the region’s natural beauty and many dazzling culinary experiences. You’ll kayak Tomales Bay and collect fresh oysters, wander through redwood forests and cycle through winery vineyards.

Mendocino

Days 1 & 2

Begin your journey by heading north to Tomales Bay, a short drive from San Francisco. In the company of an experienced local guide, you’ll explore this wildlife-rich ecosystem by kayak. Keep an eye out for blue herons, osprey, egrets and other wildlife. You’ll learn about growing and harvesting oysters as you go, before enjoying some freshly-shucked with a picnic by the water. 

Your journey continues up the rugged coastline to your first accommodation of the trip: the lovely Harbor House Inn. This little gem in the small town of Elk offers commanding views of the Three Sisters, a group of sea stacks on the Mendocino coast. The property’s six rooms, five cottages, lavish gardens and private cove make for a truly peaceful getaway amidst stunning surroundings – and did we mention the restaurant was awarded its first Michelin star in 2019. 

Fort Bragg

Days 3-5 

After a morning hiking the beautiful, rocky Mendocino coastline, enjoy a horseback ride alongside the crashing surf of Ten Mile Beach. The Inn at Newport Ranch will be your stay in Fort Bragg. Encompassing 2,000 acres of land, miles of rugged coastline and winding trails, the Inn at Newport Ranch, is the perfect escape from the bustle of everyday life. The nine-room property is spread throughout four buildings set high on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific.

Or you can roam the inland forests with a mycologist and hunt for oyster, chanterelle and other mushroom varieties. You’ll learn how to identify the different species and learn why Mendocino county is the perfect growing habitat for these woodland treats.

Sonoma Valley

Days 6-9

Head back south into the heart of wine country for a seat at a very special table. You will enjoy an innovative, Michelin-starred tasting menu at Single Thread Farm, prepared by a talented team of global chefs, using all locally sourced ingredients. This is the farm-to-table dining experience, as they grow and harvest produce and protein on their own farm, and fish and dive for the seafood they serve. 

End the night at your next stay nestled among 258 acres of rolling vineyards and oak tree groves. Montage Healdsburg features a spa, zero-edge resort pool, three signature dining options inspired by the region’s culinary heritage and seamless access to Northern California’s renowned wineries.

Days 1-3

Days 4-6

On your first full day in Savannah, you’ll walk the city’s streets accompanied by an acclaimed Gullah Geechee storyteller, who’ll provide insight into an important yet oft-overlooked side of Savannah’s history. As you walk the streets, chart a course from slavery to freedom and the ongoing healing today.

This next day, make your way to one of the city’s most memorable sights: Bonaventure Cemetery. While many notable people in the history of Savannah are buried here, it is the surroundings that make Bonaventure such a unique place. Filled with Spanish moss draped trees, azaleas and located on the banks of the Wilmington River, it is both eerie and peaceful. Continue your journey through the Isle of Hope, a beautiful bluff community with historic antebellum homes, before visiting Wormsloe State Historic Plantation. The stunning entrance avenue of over 400 live oaks is one of the most iconic images of Savannah. 

After lunch, head to a marina on the Wilmington River. You’ll board a skiff for a two hour nature adventure through the waterways, marshes and tidal creeks, where dolphins and fantastic birdlife abound. Your expert guide will shed light on the area’s human history, as well as the region’s ecology.

Charleston, South Carolina

Days 7-9

Now, it’s onto the charming city of Charleston, South Carolina. Follow a local guide through the narrow streets and alleys of Charleston’s historic district and listen to the stories that make Charleston so special.

Zero George is a true boutique hotel, with only 18 rooms spread across three charming Charleston townhouses that surround a series of pretty courtyards. The impression of staying in a private home is enhanced by the cozy sitting room, open plan kitchen, and intimate bar that all occupy the ground floor of the old brick Carriage House, built in 1805. Spend your second day at Capers Island Preserve– a pristine barrier island only reachable by boat. On this curated road trip through New England you’ll meet Maine lobstermen, local cheesemakers and brewers from Vermont, while staying in style at some of the region’s top hotels.

Kennebunkport

Days 1-3

Begin your adventure by driving up the coast into Maine. Along the way, you’ll pass salt marshes and tidal creeks, interspersed with rocky headlands and long beaches, and stop in the classic New England sea towns that hug the coast like Gloucester, Ipswich and Newburyport. 

Your first stay at Hidden Pond is a bucolic escape tucked away on 60 acres of woodland on the edge of Kennebunkport. The series of cottages and bungalows are hidden throughout the property, adding a sense of coziness and seclusion to this luxury stay.

Pick up a bottle of wine and take to the waters of the Kennebunk River in a lobster boat, watching in anticipation as the crew haul their traps. The next day, you’ll head to one of Maine’s premier shellfish farms where you will board a small boat with the farmer to see how oysters are raised. Try your hand at shucking your own straight out of the water. After eating your fill, you are welcome to take kayaks or stand up paddleboards out on the estuary to enjoy a little more time on the water before heading back to Kennebunkport for another restful evening at Hidden Pond.

White Mountains

Day 4

Next, you’ll head inland and take the scenic back roads on your way to the stunning White Mountains– the highest range in the Northeast. Take a slight detour through the Lakes District of Western Maine, passing through picture-perfect small towns before climbing into the White Mountains and your destination, the grand Mount Washington Resort. For those interested, we can arrange passage up the mountain on the historic cog railroad. 

You’ll spend one night at the Omni Mt Washington. The sparkling white and red-roofed Spanish Renaissance-style hotel, with its grand, colonnaded veranda, was built in 1902 and, with a backdrop of the Presidential Range, paints a truly spectacular picture. There are no end of fun things to do at this family friendly resort, from riding and golf to tennis and zip-lining.

Vermont Green Mountains

Days 5-7

To get to your next stay, take a leisurely road trip through the rolling hills and small dairy farms of Vermont’s remote Northeast Kingdom. This isolated corner of the state is wonderfully undeveloped and blissfully crowd free. Along the way, you’ll find maple syrup farms, local cheese producers, and tiny Vermont villages with iconic white-steepled churches and picturesque covered bridges. 

Your home for the next three nights is Twin Farms, spread over 300 hilly pine-clad acres in Vermont. Twin Farms is a luxury rural retreat that’s been reimagined with a collection of museum-worthy artwork and 20 distinctly designed suites with globetrotting-inspired motifs from Morocco to Japan. On your last day in the Green Mountains, meet your captain at Lake Champlain to set sail on your private charter to take in your final Vermont sunset from the water. The only way to improve a sunset sail in Vermont is the option to add wine tasting on deck.

New York Berkshires

Days 8 & 9

At the far western edge of Massachusetts, the bucolic Berkshires, are a world away from the hustle and bustle of Boston and in many ways live up to their storybook image of rural New England, with wooded hills, narrow winding roads, and historic villages. The area is renowned for its fall foliage with the hills turning a vibrant mix of oranges, reds and yellows.
