All Roads North is a luxury travel company that plans extraordinary American road trips with a mission to connect our clients with people and places in ways that change how they see the world. With each journey custom designed from the ground up by a specialist, a handpicked collection of the finest hotels, and insider experiences brought to life by local guides, we’ve taken the quintessential American journey to a new level.

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing that can build our brand and guide the company into our next stage of growth. The role sits across all of our marketing efforts and has the freedom to make a transformative impact. As everything we do contributes to our mission of delivering truly exceptional North American travel experiences for our discerning clients, the right person for this role will share our passion for the open road.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the champion and gate keeper of the All Roads North brand, working to ensure it is consistently reflected across the business.
  • Work with the CEO to set the marketing strategy & budget, and drive the delivery of the marketing plan.
  • Create (and commission) compelling written and visual content for All Roads North digital channels (web, social, email etc).
  • Analyze metrics and drive performance (lead generation, conversion and retention) across company digital platforms (web, social, email etc).
  • Own the relationship with existing and new marketing partners and agencies (PR, SEO, SEM etc).
  • Set the strategy and manage company social media platforms.
  • Optimize existing and develop new partnerships that compliment and elevate the All Roads North brand.
  • Work with internal teams to drive brand awareness and client loyalty at all stages of the customer journey (pre-trip, during-trip, post-trip).
  • Keep abreast of market, competitor and industry trends to highlight opportunities and influence strategy. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Passion for unearthing the people and places that make North America special as a travel destination and an intuitive understanding of how to translate this for a luxury audience. 
  • Ability to work magic with the written word and a razor sharp vision of how to represent All Roads North’s brand visually.
  • Adept at navigating the digital landscape and the software platforms that support it.
  • Experience analyzing marketing performance data and optimizing website, content and other channels as a result.
  • Natural relationship builder with experience developing supplier, brand, industry and influencer partnerships.
  • An independent natural problem solver, who always takes the initiative.
  • At least 3 years experience in a relevant travel marketing position, ideally with a North American, luxury focus.
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a marketing business or related field.

We are growing fast, and have recently been featured in numerous luxury publications including Vogue, The Financial Times, and Town & Country.

 

We’re looking for a trip development and planning intern with a passion for road trips, adventure, and luxury travel. It’s a great opportunity for someone wanting to gain first hand luxury travel and tour operator experience, at the same time as getting under the hood of a startup. The intern will help design and organize exceptional road trip itineraries for our clients, as well as helping develop new partnerships and sales channels with other travel organizations .   

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Help writing original, appealing itinerary proposals for our clients
  • Work with our suppliers (hotels, guides, logistics providers etc) to implement client trips.
  • Help producing pre-trip documentation for clients
  • Help with our business development efforts, including researching potential partnerships with travel agents, concierge services, and other 3rd parties

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Passion for U.S. travel and familiarity with some of our destinations
  • Must have excellent grammar and exceptional written skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience designing elegant, eye catching documents a plus
  • Web-savvy with a proficiency in everyday office tools (knowledge of Google Sheets & Docs a plus)
  • Candidate should be ok using their own laptop

 

Terms:

 

  • This is an unpaid internship, but college credits can be arranged
  • All Roads North is based in Venice, CA but this is a remote position that can be done from anywhere in the U.S.
  • Hours: Can be flexible but ideally 15-25 hours per week, for at least 3 months
