In Stonover Farm, Tom and Suky Werman have turned a beautiful Berkshires farmhouse into one of the great luxury bed and breakfasts in the country.

The Atmosphere

Located on the edge of Lenox in the Berkshires and surrounded by woodland, Stonover Farm is a luxury bed and breakfast less than a mile from the summer home of the Boston Philharmonic at Tanglewood. Built in the 1890s, the main farmhouse and various outbuildings have been beautifully restored by Tom and Suky Werman, the innkeepers and driving force behind Stonover Farm. From the tasteful interiors to the magnificent beamed roof of the timber barn and immaculate gardens, no detail has been spared. You’ll be welcomed warmly with a glass of wine in the kitchen and make sure to ask Tom about his days in the music industry, producing hit records for the likes of Jeff Beck, Motley Crew and Ted Nugent.

The Rooms

Three en-suite rooms are in the main farmhouse, two in the Rock Cottage, perfect for families or two couples, and then our favorite, the standalone 1850s School House, which has views out onto the pond and woods beyond.

Food & Drink

A full cooked to order breakfast is served overlooking the pond and guests can gather for an afternoon glass of wine in the living room. Lenox is a short drive and home to several excellent restaurants.
